Lego Star Wars 8031 MINI V-19 Torrent was an assault fighter used by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. It had two pairs of folding air foils, which gave the ship better maneuverability and provided pilots easy access to the cockpit. The lower hinged air foils were equipped with repulsorlift engines to make the Torrent an excelltent vertical take off and landing (VTOL) fighter. It is armed with two blaster cannons, with one on each wing, and two concussion missile launchers. The missiles fired from the Torrents were capable of tracking down and destroying their targets. Venator-class Star Destroyers often carried them instead of V-Wings. The V-19 Torrents were relatively effective in combat because of its agility and maneuverability.
